Eclipse Phase Character Options

It's been super gratifying to see the backer surveys come in over the last couple of weeks!

We are going ahead with the plan of locking orders this week: on Friday the 18th we will send out a 48 hour warning that orders need to be locked by Sunday the 20th, and then cards will be charged on Monday the 21st.

The Pre-Order store will stay open for awhile more and of course if you don't submit a survey by Sunday the 20th you'll be able to do so later.

We've placed orders for t-shirts, and expecting delivery of various books, merchandise, and additional shipping supplies between the end of this week and the end of the month. A pallet of Character Options is due to land on my doorstep on Monday the 21st as well, and I am super excited to heft all those boxes!

I anticipate starting some shipping by the middle of next week, based on locked orders and the timing of merchandise arrival — orders featuring just Character Options heading to USA and Canada will likely be first out the door.

The smoke test went great — no fires — so we are sending out Character Options surveys today.

A couple quick reminders: we have the Eclipse Phase Second Edition Core Rulebook Reprint and print editions of Mind the WMD: Resleeved available as add-ons, along with the new Eclipse Phase logo pin! It's also your only chance to guarantee a copy of Character Options in wire-o bound style.



The Eclipse Phase Second Edition Core Rulebook Reprint is in the final stages of corrections and touchups. We just received some great-looking samples from a new-to-us printer, and we're close to finalizing details on that print run.

Hey Backers!

Today we're starting the Smoke Test for backer surveys. This means we going to send out surveys to roughly 5% of you (randomly chosen) so we can make sure that there aren't any problems with surveys, backer levels, add-ons, and everything else.

If you get a survey in the next 24 hours, it would be a great help if you filled it out ASAP — especially if you're getting items that have options (like t-shirts).

Hello everyone!

Just letting y'all know that we're in the final stages of making an agreement with a company to handle all of the non-USA non-Canada shipping, and once that's finalized we'll be sending out surveys and opening BackerKit for finalizing shipping and add-ons, including the upcoming Eclipse Phase Second Edition core rulebook reprint!

There's been a lot going on since Gen Con, so we will start with the summary and move into details:

Staff Returns

It’s exciting that two owners are increasing their roles in the company at the same time! Bringing Brian back into the fold has already increased our human bandwidth and started pushing projects forward. Also … it’s fun to have his sardonic sense of humor around more often.

Eclipse Phase Second Edition Core Rulebook Reprint

We are working with a new printer to get the Eclipse Face Second Edition core rulebook reprinted — you may have seen over on the Patreon or our Discord that we have been compiling new corrections for this printing, and that the preliminary errata document can be viewed here.

Other touchups beyond errata will happen in this reprint — here's a work-in-progress on a revised Character Archetypes spread:



As always, the PDF update will be free for anyone who has already purchased it, and we are set to release all of Eclipse Phase Second Edition (plus a little bit more) in a wiki format.

Finally: pre-ordering the EP2 reprint via BackerKit will lock you in at the $60 price for the reprint. It is highly possible we will be raising the print price with this reprint due to overall rising costs to produce printed books of the quality we do.

Mind the WMD Resleeved in Print & Digital

Our latest adventure is Mind the WMD Resleeved, a thorough updating of the adventure originally included in the First Edition Quick-Start Rules. The print edition will be available in the Character Options BackerKit!

Mind the WMD: Resleeved is an adventure that brings the Scum swarm Ecstatic Metamorphosis to life. From the swarm itself and then onto Mars it provides many investigative routes, including options for entering the TITAN Quarantine Zone. 
 
MtWMD is a great scenario for starting a Firewall campaign or inserting into an existing one, and it leaves plenty of dangling threads at the end that can be used to tie into a longer campaign. It is also tangentially connected to the Eclipse Phase Second Edition opening fiction, Infamy.

Mind the WMD: Resleeved is a 32-page printed book with 3 detailed battlemaps, each available in multiple versions, drawn by Miska's Maps, perfect for playing the scenario on a VTT. All book purchases include digital copies of each battlemap plus variants!
